ledger

Funding-call orchestration. Takes a subsidy call from intake through analysis, a deliverable checklist, and a report, and holds the collaboration around the call: FAQ, discussion, and a sociocratic consent decision.

ledger is the federation’s funding-call platform. A call arrives with its own rules: a funder, a set of indicators, a deadline, and a body of deliverables. ledger takes the call from intake through to a report. It reads the candidatures that chart holds, checks the deliverables against the call indicators with Anthropic Sonnet 4, keeps a deliverable checklist, and drafts a report with the analysis already in place.

Around each call there is a conversation. A funder asks a question, a Lab proposes a change, the participants need to decide together whether to proceed. ledger holds that layer too: a FAQ, discussion threads, and a sociocratic consent decision that records who consented and on what. The decision is the gate; the report does not leave until the call has consented to it.

§ NoteA funding report is not generated and sent on its own. ledger drafts the analysis and the report; the call participants reach a sociocratic consent decision before anything leaves. Registration of candidates stays in chart; ledger reads from it rather than duplicating it.

ledger does not register candidates; registration stays in chart. ledger reads the records that chart holds, runs the analysis a funder needs, and writes the report a funder reads. It is the orchestration layer of the economy pillar, next to chart: chart records, ledger orchestrates.

How the instruments relate

people is the floor. Identity, membership, consent. chart, compass, and lens all read from people; they do not duplicate it. A change in people propagates to all three by definition.
