syfers.eu is operated by Cooperativa Integral Sulitânia, CRL, a cooperative registered in Portugal (NIF 518771571), headquartered at Quinta da Fornalha, 8950-186 Castro Marim, Algarve, Portugal.

What data we collect and why

We collect the minimum personal data necessary to operate this site.

• Email enquiries: when you write to us at info@syntrociety.com or hello@syfers.eu, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the European Union. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track individuals across sites. It provides anonymised, aggregated data about page visits. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). No consent required.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes server request data (including IP addresses) as part of normal site operation. See Vercel’s privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

What we do not collect

syfers.eu does not use cookies. There is no tracking, no advertising, no user accounts, no newsletter subscription, and no payment processing on this site.

Links to GitHub take you to GitHub’s own platform, which has its own privacy policy. We do not share data with GitHub.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection law (Lei 58/2019), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Request erasure of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt

How to exercise your rights

Write to info@syntrociety.com. We will respond within 30 days. If your request concerns email correspondence, we will delete it from our inbox and sent items unless we are legally required to retain it.

Data retention

Email enquiries are retained as long as the correspondence is relevant, and deleted when it is no longer needed. We do not retain enquiries beyond two years.

Plausible Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated at collection. No individual data is retained.

Vercel server logs are governed by Vercel’s own retention policy.

Third parties

We use two third-party services that may process data incidentally to their operation:

• Plausible Analytics (plausible.io), privacy-first analytics, EU-hosted, no cookies, no personal data collected.
• Vercel Inc., site hosting. Data Processing Agreement available at vercel.com/legal/dpa.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our data practices change. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Changes do not apply retroactively.
